This was completely unnecessary for me as I already own the tools needed. I'd just as soon not have to pay for them. But I can see that for someone that doesn't already have the tools, having them in the kit is a great convenience. And for what it is worth, the tools are decent quality and not trash. They will continue to be useful in future years.
