At first I thought it was a bit pricey for a desk toy, but the craftsmanship is undeniable. All the little springs, gears, and the light effect are super well executed.
Building this fierce mechanical fish was super fun, and the glowing 7-color bulb on its tentacle looks incredible lit up at night.

Exactly as described, if not better. It looks dead cool when the lights are on, especially the red eyes. The build quality is excellent—very sturdy and well-put-together. The seven-colour transition on the lure is very smooth and looks great in a dark room. It’s a bit of a beast to look at, which is exactly what I wanted. If you’re on the fence, just get it. You won't be disappointed.
Wer gerne schraubt und tüftelt, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Das Set kam sicher verpackt an, und ich war beeindruckt, wie akribisch alle Einzelteile in nummerierten Beuteln beschriftet waren. Das erleichtert den Aufbau enorm.
Die Detailverliebtheit bei diesem Anglerfisch ist Wahnsinn. Die Kombination aus Messing-Optik, Zahnrädern und den metallischen Flossen sieht einfach edel aus. Es ist kein Projekt für zwischendurch, man sollte sich Zeit nehmen. Aber das Gefühl, wenn sich die Zahnräder ineinanderfügen und das Modell Form annimmt, ist extrem befriedigend.
Die Passgenauigkeit der Teile ist perfekt, was bei solchen Metall-Bausätzen nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Ein tolles Geschenk für sich selbst oder für Freunde von mechanischer Kunst. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
At first I was overwhelmed but I soon got the hang of how these models go together. I had to be careful during the process as I have a tendency to overnighter things to ensure they stay in place, but with these models that isn't always a good thing. It is better to leave things loose until you have them lined up correctly as it may be needed in a later step. The build took a few days of work which seemed perfect. It is really heavy and now is on display in my living room!

The sharp teeth and the mechanical gears make it look like a creature straight out of a sci-fi movie.Building it was a fun weekend project. It’s very sturdy once assembled.I love how the light reflects off the metal parts at night. It adds such a cool industrial atmosphere to my room. It’s definitely one of my favorite collections now.
As a fan of 3D metal puzzles, building this Anglerfish was a joy. The instructions were clear, and fitting the gears and teeth together required just the right amount of patience. It wasn't too hard, but absolutely satisfying. The metal parts have a nice weight to them, and the brass finish gives it a premium, vintage feel. The base is very stable. Seeing the finished model gave me a huge sense of accomplishment. If you enjoy mechanical assembly kits, you need to buy this.
