Regular praying mantises are already a bit intimidating, but this one takes it to a whole new level. Those claws look like they mean business! The combination of sharp edges, exposed machinery, and red accents gives it a pretty wild appearance. Definitely not your typical insect model.

Bought this as a gift for my lad. The level of detail on the legs and wings is superb—really impressive bit of engineering. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the delivery delay. I ordered it well in advance, but it got caught up in the May Day holiday backlog and arrived three days late. It was a bit of a shame as it missed his actual birthday. That said, he’s chuffed to bits with it now that it’s here. A great piece of kit, just a bit of a shambles with the courier over the holiday period.
