TONS (and I do mean a whole heck of a lot) of very small pieces. I haven't finished putting it together yet, but the instructions are easy enough to follow and the quality of the pieces are tops notch. I do hope there are a few extras of the smallest pieces, because I have dropped a lot of them (only 1 not found so far)

The octopus is the first metal puzzle I’ve tried and it was well worth the time and frustration. I do wish some of the regular nuts were locking nuts，But it’s a great project.

I really enjoyed assembling this Mantis. The parts are cut precisely, and everything fits together perfectly without forcing it. It was a nice challenge but very satisfying. The finished model is sturdy and poses well. I love the mechanical steampunk vibe mixed with the vivid green color.
