This metal insect kit exceeded my expectations. The tiny gears, joints, and clear wings are really well crafted. It definitely requires some patience and a pair of tweezers/pliers, but the instructions were easy enough to follow. Once finished, it’s sturdy and feels heavy in hand, not cheap at all. A must-have if you’re into DIY models or cool desk decor.
My 17-year-old and I spent two rainy afternoons building this. It was a fantastic way to get him off his phone and working with his hands. The instructions were clear enough to follow, though it does require focus. It really teaches you how mechanical structures work. The finished wasp is surprisingly sturdy and the wings look amazing.
