If you’re a hobbyist who lives for the crunch of a complex build, this dragon is an absolute must-have. I’ve put together dozens of 3D metal puzzles, but this one really tested my patience and precision in the best way possible.
First off, the level of detail is insane. The mix of the polished silver and that vibrant crimson red looks incredible once the light hits it. But be warned: this is a serious project. It took me a solid three evenings to finish. Some of the parts are tiny and require a very steady hand and a good set of needle-nose pliers. If you try to rush it, you’re going to have a bad time.
The instructions were clear enough, but you really have to pay attention to the orientation of the tabs. There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching these flat sheets of metal transform into a fierce, mechanical beast. The skeletal structure of the torso is particularly cool and adds a lot of heft to the final model.
