Brilliant bit of kit. The metal pieces are great quality, not flimsy at all. Took a bit of patience to sort the fins, but the final mechanical fish looks superb. Definitely worth the money.

En personne, le brillant métallique du corps principal, la précision des engrenages, et la façon dont la lumière joue avec ces ailes translucides est tout simplement hypnotisant. On sent tout de suite la qualité premium.

Le montage était assez simple, ça m'a pris environ une heure pour chacun. J'apprécie vraiment les supports solides qui sont inclus – ça rend l'exposition tellement facile et stable. Ils ont trouvé leur place permanente sur ma console de salon, de chaque côté de la télé, et ils ajoutent une touche tellement sophistiquée, moderne, et légèrement industrielle à la pièce. Ils subliment vraiment la décoration.

Ce n'est pas juste un jouet ou une maquette simple ; c'est une pièce maîtresse. Ça a ce petit côté objet de collection haut de gamme sans le prix exorbitant qui va avec. Si vous hésitez, foncez. Vous ne le regretterez pas. Le savoir-faire est de première classe, et le design est juste tellement imaginatif. Je suis vraiment, vraiment impressionné.

I was wracking my brain trying to find a gift for my brother who's notoriously hard to shop for – he's into all things tech, intricate models, and anything with a cool, futuristic aesthetic. Then I saw this! It looked perfect, and thankfully, it was a huge hit. He spent most of Christmas morning putting it together, which he actually enjoyed. He said the build was challenging enough to be engaging but not frustrating, and the end result was incredibly satisfying.

He got the red one, and the color is just phenomenal – deep and rich, really catches the light. The gears and mechanical aspects are so detailed, it looks like it could actually do something. He's got it proudly displayed on his bookshelf now, right next to his high-end gaming console, and it fits right in. It's not just another plastic toy; this feels substantial and well-engineered.

Another fun model to build. few steps were a bit frustrating but still satisfied. this is a very underated model. im surprised theres not more reviews on it. also for some reason every retailer that sells this model leaves out the fact that this 1 lights up. they always mention the mantis and fox that uses a magnetic wand to turn it on. to my surprise when taking inventory, a light module. check out my pics to see it lit up in the dark. there was however a couple issues both with the base. the springs absolutely will not fit over the piece of included pipe pieces and 1 of the screws was way too long and caused the base to wobble badly. the Dremel took care of that part. i left off the defective springs and tbh i think it looks better anyway. as for difficulty id say medium despite the fact that i finished it in almost half the time as the scorpion and giant wasp, some steps were kinda tough.

in closing the couple flaws in the base wasnt enough to lose a star. i highly recommend building this 1.

Alright, so assembling this little guy was a bit of a journey, not gonna lie! It's definitely challenging, which for me, was part of the fun. You'll need some patience, especially when you get to the base – take your time with that part, trust me. Also, a heads-up: some of the plastic pieces are a little delicate, so be gentle when you're putting them together. Don't go applying too much force! But honestly, once it's all put together, it's totally worth the effort. It looks fantastic and you get a real sense of accomplishment. If you enjoy a good puzzle and don't mind a bit of a delicate touch, you'll love it!
