The design is truly ingenious. This is my second model kit—the first was a mechanical spider.

Now my octopus lounges lazily on the bookshelf, its tentacles reaching toward my collection of fantasy horror novels. The scene is absolutely perfect. I especially adore the lighting—planet-like spheres paired with an RGB controller, casting a soft, mesmerizing glow.

What truly amazes me is the sheer number of spare parts included for every intricate component—plenty left over, so you won't be scouring the carpet for tiny screws and nuts knocked off by the cat!

However, I'm giving it four stars instead of five because the assembly process was quite challenging. The screws and gears are incredibly tiny—you absolutely need tweezers and steady hands. It consists of numerous metal blocks, and I disassembled and reassembled it a couple of times. It took much longer than I anticipated, but seeing the finished product was incredibly rewarding.

The final product is simply amazing! The glowing spheres look fantastic, support charging, and come with a remote control for multi-color transitions.

The metal parts feel very high quality. Let me just say, this is definitely not a project you can “fly through.” I spent about five hours total. The screws are incredibly tiny, so I highly recommend having tweezers ready and working on a spacious surface. The instructions are mostly diagrams, which work, but I had to double-check steps several times to ensure gears weren't installed backwards.

You know how it is when you're fiddling with all those tiny bits! But seriously, this kit is the bee's knees. You guys knocked it out of the park!

90% will be spent assembling its eight tentacles.

The octopus is the first metal puzzle I’ve tried and it was well worth the time and frustration.
I do wish some of the regular nuts were locking nuts，But it’s a great project.

I love that it can change the color of the light, like a magic!

TONS (and I do mean a whole heck of a lot) of very small pieces. I haven't finished putting it together yet, but the instructions are easy enough to follow and the quality of the pieces are tops notch. I do hope there are a few extras of the smallest pieces, because I have dropped a lot of them (only 1 not found so far)
