I’ve built a fair few mechanical models in my time, but this one is in a league of its own. The contrast between the brushed metal and that deep ruby-red translucent casing is just brilliant. It catches the light beautifully on my desk—looks almost like real glass. It feels sturdy, not like some of the flimsy plastic stuff you often find. A bit of a challenge to put together, but incredibly rewarding. If you're into steampunk or mechanical designs, you’ll be chuffed to bits with this. Top notch!

What I love most is the flow of this piece. From the back, the tail has this amazing segmented look that reminds me of a scorpion or a high-tech dragon. It gives the whole model a sense of movement.
The contrast of the smooth, curvy head against the sharp, jagged mechanical body is a total vibe. I have it displayed on a rotating glass stand, and it catches the light beautifully from every side. The white finish has a subtle pearlescent sheen that doesn't show up well in photos but looks incredible in person. It’s definitely the coolest thing on my bookshelf right now.

I’m usually skeptical about these kinds of models because they often look good from the front but cheap from the back. Not this one! I turned it around to check out the spine and the tail assembly, and the level of detail is consistent all the way through.
The way the white armor plates overlap the mechanical skeleton is super clever. From the side profile, you can really see the intricate brass-colored gears layered underneath. It’s not just a static statue; it feels like a complex piece of machinery. Even the underside of the paws is finished properly. If you appreciate mechanical aesthetics, you’ll spend hours just looking at it from different angles.
